Literally! How great is this concept? It’s by French designer Emilie {check out her site here}. What a unique way to portray Pantone colors {although really, Pantone doesn’t invent colors, that’s the work of Mother Nature}. There are Pantone mugs and even lipsticks. Recently I ordered a lipstick from Sephora that’s the color of 2012, Tangerine Tango. Can’t wait to try it out!
Orange has long been a favorite color of mine, I mean, how can you not be HAPPY just looking at it?
I was working on a board for my dream office space, and I came across this image…perfection! Lots of white with bright pops of color, and tons of natural light.
Love the patterns on these pens. I really want some fabric or wallpaper like that, too. They also make a bunch of other pretty things, check them out at www.iomoi.com.
I read a study the other day that said that blue is the most favored color by men and women, with yellow and orange the least. Since yellow is one of my favorite colors ever, ever, ever, since I was a little fashionista, I created a mini roundup of yellow fabulousness.
Yellow layered necklace and nails, perfectly matched up with a white dress.
I mean really, how can you not like this color? You can use little punches of it here and there to spice up your look.
If you’re really bold and dare to venture out into sunshine land, you can carry a yellow purse…
Or wear yellow shoes.
This is what Fall looks like to me. Rich colors, cozy blankets, and crisp air.

So I was at Fintastic the other day, and I came across these little critters. They caught my eye because of the sorbet colored bodies, and really, what’s more fantastic than fish that could pass for ice cream (or candy?) Yumsies!! Apparently they are genetically engineered, hence the awesome colors. Scientists are also trying to manipulate fish to change colors depending on the temperature of the water, and/or detecting certain pollutants in the water. I really wanted to buy some, but at $10/fishy, it might be a bit much.
You can read more about them here, on the National University of Singapore site, where they were originally created.
